Grant Application Form

Apply for a National Philoptochos Grant

National Philoptochos strives to make our grantmaking process systematic, rigorous, and as streamlined as possible. Here are the six most important things you need to know prior to completing our grant application.

  1. We only fund projects aligned with the mission of Philoptochos and its national commitment program.

  2. Please read more about our philanthropic priorities and programs on our website at www.Philoptochos.org.

  3. We fund specific projects. Our process and forms are not designed for other requests, such as donations, operational support, salaries, utilities, general fundraising, or program support. Once a project grant is approved, quarterly and close-out reporting are required.

  4. Anyone can request funding from the National Philoptochos; however, we generally fund charitable entities that are 501(c) 3 entities, have annual audits, are located in the US and the Bahamas, and can produce all documentation required in our grant application. We also fund entities outside of the United States, which are consistent with our commitments and general guidelines.

  5. Our application process has several stages. Grant consideration begins with an initial evaluation of whether the grant application is complete and generally aligns with our purposes; If it is incomplete, the applicant will be advised. If it is complete and aligns with our purposes, it then moves on to the Project Review Committee for further review, follow-up, and recommendation for a final decision.

  6. We review grant requests year-round.

  7. All application materials must be completed using our form (see below) and forwarded to contact@philoptochos.org to initiate the grant process. General Grant Application Form (RFP)
