Social Services Letter

Dear Chapter Presidents and Members,

On behalf of the Department of Social Services we thank you for your generosity this past year which has enabled us to make a real difference in the lives of those who seek our help.

It's that time of year when we look to you for support, as your contribution is very important to us.  Your commitment to Social Services will enable us to strengthen the support that we provide to clients and create hope for them during difficult times.

As faithful stewards of the resources entrusted to us, we will make sure we fulfill the mission of our department.  The mission is to improve the quality of life of those in need, in a way that maintains the dignity and self-respect of the individuals. Through confidential and professional services, the office provides outreach, education, information, support, intervention, motivation, advocacy, financial assistance and referral to local and broader resources.

The January commitment for Social Services voted upon by the delegates at a National Convention is $350. We urge you to send it in as soon as possible so that we can fulfill the many requests for assistance.  If Chapter can afford to send more assistance, we gladly accept your generosity.

Help us build a lasting legacy of healing and hope that speaks to your values.  Together, we can lessen the burden for individuals and families who are struggling with emotional, medical, and financial issues.
