Description: The Rehabilitation Council is a statewide citizens group created to advise the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) about how well its programs and services match the needs of people with disabilities. Fifty percent of the Rehabilitation Council members are either persons with disabilities or have family members who are persons with disabilities.
Mission: Assistance for students with disabilities is often provided by state Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies. Studens who believe they may not benefit from these services should apply with their local Department of Vocational Rehabilitation to determine eligibility. |
