A March 4, 2014 Message From President Aphrodite Skeadas (now National Past President and Advisor)
Dear National Board Members, Chapter Presidents, and Stewards of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society,
We pray to our Lord and Saviour to guide us during this Holy and Great Lent.
The women of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society continually demonstrate their love and compassion for those in need. I am pleased to inform you that because of the outstanding assistance offered by you, the Stewards of the Society, the sum of $1,479,320 has been disbursed in the year 2013 through our various ministry funds and special drives. Thank you dear Sisters in Christ. You have truly demonstrated that you are indeed "doers of the Word."
